Title

Custom IND$FILE Parameters Do Not Save After Making Changes

Product

PASSPORT PC to Host, PASSPORT Web to Host

Emulation Types

TN3270

Issue

Although I have made changes to the custom IND$FILE parameters and saved my settings, the settings are not being used when I perform my file transfer. How can this issue be resolved?

Solution

Although your settings are saved, the problem is that the File Type does not get automatically changed to Custom, resulting in default settings being used. This issue is resolved in PASSPORT Web to Host version 2010-430 and newer as well as PASSPORT PC to Host version 2010-514 and newer.
