Title

Recorded Macro Running Too Fast

Product

PASSPORT PC to Host, PASSPORT Web to Host

Emulation Types

TN3270, TN5250, VT, SCO ANSI, Wyse 60

Issue

After upgrading PASSPORT, sometimes the recorded macro is running faster than the host can respond; thus, causing the macro to fail.  How can this be resolved?

Solution

If you have multiple sessions configured with different screen sizes, (i.e., Mod2 and Mod4), you will need to make sure that you record separate macros, one specifically for Mod2 and one specifically for Mod4.  Because a Mod2 and a Mod4 session present different screen sizes and different screen buffers, running a mismatched macro (Mod2 session macro with Mod4 session) will result in timing issues.
