Is it possible to run a macro within a macro in PASSPORT?
You cannot run a macro within a macro per se. However, Rocket Software offers the ability to launch a macro from within a Visual Basic application or VBScript using the PASSPORT Object Interface, which can provide similar functionality. Only 1 macro can be run at any given time from a specific host session.
Rocket Software has worked with a number of clients regarding the automated launching of macros, doing everything from creating an HTML page that contains a panel of buttons that automatically launch specific macros to building Intranet applications that launch macros from drop-down menus.
