Issue

I am unable to create a printer session running TCP/IP for VSE on the mainframe.  How can this be resolved?

Solution

Currently, PASSPORT via TCP/IP for VSE does not support the following:

1. TN3270E printing as defined by RFC 1147. The enhanced printing capabilities in TN3270E are available through the General Print Server (GPS) product.

2. The TN3270 protocol is non-SNA, which means that the ATTN and SYSREQ keys do not work.
