Issue

With Block Paste Mode selected and the insert function on, the pasted text overlays the existing text instead of being inserted, for example:

 

After copying a block of zeros to paste where the sequence of numbers begin:

 

 

 

The pasted block of zeros overlays the sequence of numbers:

 

 

Is there a fix available for this issue?

Solution

Rocket Software has released a patch for PASSPORT PC to Host Version 2011-506 which adds the insert block paste mode functionality.

 

The pasted block of zeros are now inserted before the sequence of numbers:

How to Apply the Patch:

This patch must be applied to version 2011-506 of PASSPORT PC to Host only. If this is not done, unpredictable results may occur.

 

Copy the all the files to the directory where PASSPORT PC to Host is installed. The default directory is C:\Program Files\PASSPORT\

 

Note: For this particular example above, make sure that Lines with terminators and Block Mode are selected, otherwise, unpredictable results may occur.
