This issue may result from having the incorrect host code page specified. Follow the steps below to change the host code page to match the code page of the host:

For PASSPORT PC to Host:

  1. Disconnect from your PASSPORT session.
  2. Select Setup from the Communication menu.
  3. Select the appropriate host code page from the Host Code Page drop-down menu.

For PASSPORT Web to Host Client:

Instructions are the same as those for PASSPORT PC to Host

For PASSPORT Web to Host Admin:

  1. In the PASSPORT Web to Host Administrator, open the session you want to change the host code page for.
  2. On the Connection tab, select the appropriate Host Code Page from the drop-down list:

  3. Click OK to Save or Connect to test.

More Information

If the host code page does not exist in the drop-down list, make sure the host code page is one supported by PASSPORT:

TN3270 and TN5250

VT and SCO ANSI

WYSE 60

Note: If the host code page is in this list but does not show up in the drop-down list, it is because you are using a non-International version of PASSPORT. You will need to contact Rocket Software to obtain an International license code.
