Title

Disable VT Scroll Back Buffer

Product

PASSPORT PC to Host

Emulation Types

VT, SCO ANSI, Wyse 60

Issue

While opening my PASSPORT session, I encounter a 32-bit application error message. How can this issue be resolved?

Solution

This issue may occur for VT , SCO ANSI or Wyse 60 emulation types if you have the Scroll Back Buffer option enabled. If you are using PASSPORT PC to Host version 2010-514 and older, then you will need to disable the Scroll Back Buffer option to temporarily resolve the issue. However, if the Scroll Back Buffer option is a requirement, then you must upgrade to the latest version of PASSPORT PC to Host which resolves the issue.

Follow the steps below to disable the Scroll Back Buffer:

  1. Start a PASSPORT VT, SCO ANSI or Wyse 60 session.
  2. Choose the Communication®Disconnect menu command.
  3. Choose the Communication®Setup menu command:

  4. Disable the Scroll Back Buffer option.
  5. Click Connect.
